AIS Awards

Contractors Awards

The AIS Contractors Awards are presented annually to promote and encourage high levels of craftsmanship in seven categories - Interior fit-outs, Ceilings, Partitioning, Drywall Construction, Specialist Joinery, Operable Walls and Judges Award. The awards are announced and certificates presented at the AIS President's Lunch.

All contracts entered are visited by two AIS award judges. In addition, entries shortlisted in the three Interior Fit-Out value bands are visited by a guest architect/interior designer who determines the winners.  The architect or interior designer of the Gold award winning contract also receives an award.

How to enter

The AIS Contractors Awards are open to any AIS member with contractual responsibility for the project. Entry into the 2012 Contractors Awards is now closed.

Best Practice Awards

The AIS Best Practice Awards recognise successful implementation of innovative environmental technologies, products, processes or techniques that benefit clients, contractors and specifiers alike.

The Awards are open to all AIS members, regardless of size. There are three categories - Eco Innovation, Product Innovation and Training Innovation (sponsored by CITB-ConstructionSkills). Judged by a panel of experts from relevant industry fields, the awards recognise outstanding innovation in the commercial interiors industry and allow AIS members to celebrate their success.

Entry into the 2012 Best Practice Awards will open in August 2012.
