NSCC Increases Benefits of Membership PDF

NSCC has expanded the range of services provided to specialist contractors to ensure that they are uniquely placed for success over the coming year.

By joining forces with five new service providers, NSCC can now offer the following services in addition to its current business support:

• Enhanced CRB checks for employees from Capita Recruitment Vetting Service (CRVS)
• Credit referencing services from Checkit
• An online credit forum providing access to information about customers trading outside of agreed payment terms from Creditlook
• Cost effective solutions for vehicle fleet procurement, operation and servicing from Fleet Department
• On site photography for use in presentations, corporate literature and tender documents from In-Press.

AIS Awards Industries Best PDF

Support for the 2010 AIS Contractors Awards has been tremendous, with the fit-out category proving particularly popular, accounting for almost half the overall entries.  In the judges opinion the quality of projects was even better than in previous years (if that is possible) meaning the difference between the winning entries and those that did not receive an award is minimal.

Roger Adams, practice principal at architects Bisset Adams, who judged the Interior Fit-Out finalists commented that: ‘Having made the shortlist, it goes without saying that the standard of workmanship on all 11 projects was extremely high. However, being honest I was looking for something else - the schemes that I would view and think ‘I wish that was in my portfolio’. I was not disappointed.
