AIS Contractors Awards

The AIS Contractors Awards are presented annually to promote and encourage high levels of craftsmanship in seven categories:

Interior fit-outs
Ceilings
Partitioning
Drywall Construction
Specialist Joinery
Operable Walls
Judges Award

Those categories that have value bands - interior fit-outs, ceilings and partitioning - allow, at the discretion of the judges, for a Gold and Silver award, as do the categories for Drywall Construction, Specialist Joinery, Operable Walls and the Judges' Award. The awards are announced and certificates presented at the AIS President's Lunch. The Gold within the two Interior Fit-Out value bands is determined by a guest architect/interior designer.

Robert Fry, managing director Europe - Principal of international award-winning design practice Swanke Hayden Connell Architects, judged the Gold within the two Interior Fit-Out value bands in the 2007 AIS Contractors Awards.
