The Association represents companies involved in the manufacture, supply and installation of all aspects of interior fit-outs and refurbishment, with particular emphasis on partitioning and suspended ceilings.   Members are throughout the supply chain - from main interior contractors to specialist fit-out contractors, from interior systems manufacturers to distributors and so much more.

Members operate in retail and commercial offices, the public sector, banks and building societies, hotels and leisure facilities, hospitals, schools, factories and warehouses, airports and so on.

AIS membership increased by a staggering 12.5% in 2007 and over 8% in 2008. The Association wishes to grow steadily for the next few years.
